Forex HYIP (often misspelled as Forex YIP)

High Yield Investment Programs

There are a lot of this supposed alternative investments springing up all over the internet. They promise returns from one percent per day to ten percent per day. Many programs claim to be able to make these kinds of returns from trading in currencies.

Do you know that these programs operate usually on anonymous servers in Malaysia or some other far away spot? Why is that?

Sucker!

Quite simply because you've been had, if you give them your money. You'll never be able to track them down, and they will disappear. Have you ever noticed that there are no old HYIPs? They come and go.

Here's the truth. There are none of these programs that invest in forex. Not one of them. Every single one has only one method of operation. They take in money and then they take in more. With some of the second wave of money, the pay people from the first. That's right. Every single one of them is a ponzi.

Nota Bene: If you operate a HYIP, don't write to me saying that you're different. Or that you invest in this or that and you're the real thing. You are lying, and you are scum.

Now that I've got that out of my system, let's proceed. Think about the kind of returns they promise. Ten percent compounded daily? Do that for a year starting with $10,000 and you'd own everything on the face of this globe.

So now I ask you? Is that possible? No, it is not.

Honest HYIP

That all said, isn't there some kind of honest HYIP? Isn't there some kind of alternative investment for the small guy?

This kind of a question is fueled by the idea purported that the rich have better investments that the rest of us, and that they can make obscene ROI on their investments. Quite frankly, this is entirely false. Rich people don't make thirty percent per month return on their investments. They are happy with half of that annually.

The rich usually make smaller percentages than average. Think about it. If you have $40 million and you make just a ten percent return for the year, you just make $4 million dollars!

So in summary, no the rich don't have access to highly secret, insanely profitable investments, and furthermore, nothing that has the acronym HYIP is honest. Not one. Run away.

Or, if you can't resist giving away your money, give it to the homeless guy on the corner. At least he'll put it to better use--like buying cheap booze to get drunk. ;-)
